My Rating System

I rate the books I review on a scale of 1 – 5 stars, excluding halves (for the most part). Below is a very basic understanding of what each rating means. Reviews will explain the rating for each particular book in more detail.

1 out of 5 stars (1 / 5) – I didn’t like it. I may or may not have finished it. I cannot recommend.
2 out of 5 stars (2 / 5) – Mostly I didn’t enjoy it, but there were some aspects I liked. It was hard to get through and I barely could stand to read it to the end.
3 out of 5 stars (3 / 5) – It was okay. Enjoyable to read but nothing stood out about it. Might not read sequels or more by the author. I would still recommend it.
4 out of 5 stars (4 / 5) – I liked it a lot. Entertaining, enjoyable. A memorable read, but still something missing. I would definitely recommend.
5 out of 5 stars (5 / 5) – It was perfect in my eyes and I loved it completely. A very memorable read that will stay with me. I would highly recommend and sing its praises.
